I found a dead bird is a short film made by River Cao during his artist residency in Letchworth Garden City. Responding to the radical ghost of Letchworth’s early garden city movement, River interweaves memories, identities, and language in a conversation with the soul of a dead bird he discovered in the town. He begins to re-understand that mourning can be positive.
